Eric Calamia As the founder of Tool Time, I have a broad range of home repair and improvement skills. I built my own home in 1984 in the Jackson Oaks area of Morgan Hill. I love working with my hands. I like to make and repairs things. I have all of my life. I am a problem solver and always enjoy a good challenge. I am comfortable and experienced in all of the services Tool Time provides. I enjoy wood working the most! Click here if you would like to know more about my background. 2.) Ryan Calamia Ryan is my son. At 25 years old, he is very good at all handyman tasks. Ryan has learned a lot from me starting at a very young age. He is proficient at plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, masonry repairs and any other challenge that arises. Ryan's primary strength is in the electrical area. He handles most of the requests we get for electrical work at Tool Time. Ryan has a lot of experience installing ceiling fans, exhaust fans, whole house fans, attic fans, recessed lighting, chandeliers and other light fixtures. One of the key requirements of a good handyman is problem solving and Ryan is an excellent problem solver. You can count on Ryan to do a quality job and to get the job done quickly! 3.) Jordon Montarbo I was Jordon's roller hockey coach in high school. As his coach, I was always impressed with his dedication, playing skills and team spirit. Jordon's father has been building custom homes for the last 30 years and has taught Jordon quite a bit about framing, deck building and patio covers. Jordon is learning many of the other skills and trades from our senior, more experienced handymen. Since his employment at Tool Time he has refinished front entry doors, replaced rotted joists, refinished decks, Installed deck railing, built fences and gates, installed window blinds, replaced electrical cover plates, switches and outlets. 4.) Shane Flaten Shane came out from Minnesota a year ago to help his sister finish remodeling her three bathrooms. He fell in love with the California weather and after finishing the bathroom remodels he decided to move out here. Shane is very good with tile work, framing, sheet rock, painting and finish wood working. He also does light plumbing and electrical. Shane had his own painting business in Minnesota before moving to California. Shane is a natural handyman. He is very skilled and experienced with power tools. 5.) Steve Foard Steve Foard has the most experience. He is very skilled at tile work, plumbing, framing, finish carpentry, sheet rock and painting. He can do light electrical such as switches and outlets, but prefers to have my son or myself do the electrical if it is more involved. Steve's real passion is working with tile and doing bathroom remodels. Steve is very organized and a skilled craftsman. 6.) George Torres
George is a Journeyman Carpenter. He has been doing kitchen
and bathroom remodels for the last nine years. He is experienced at
demolition, framing, installation of appliances, cabinets, installations of
light futures and fans recess lighting, receptacles, tile, linoleum,
hardwood floor, build shower pans, float cement, bull nose tile, re-pipe ,
waste lines, vent stacks, roof jacks, installation of handicap grab rails
and seats, scheduling permit inspection, standing inspection, customer
service, painting, finish carpentry, blue prints, picking up supplies,
change orders, installation of custom cabinets, running gas lines, cook
tops, installation of water heaters, fireplaces, doors, windows, and sky
lights, texture and more.
7.) Nick DeCarlo
Nick is a licensed finish carpenter. He is a pro at
cabinetry, crown molding, baseboard, wainscoting, chair rail. Most of Nicks
career has been in cabinet making and kitchen remodeling. In addition to his
wood working skills, Nick is proficient at tile, sheet rock, plumbing and
light electrical. With all of these talents, Nick has the qualifications and
experience to do our bathroom and kitchen remodels.
8.) Lucas Anthony
Lucas is experienced in heating and air conditioning repair and
installation. He has 6 years of work experience in the trade and is
finishing his fourth year of HVAC training provided by local Union #393 in
San Jose. Lucas worked one year for ASI and 5 years for Environmental
Systems, Inc. Lucas's father is also in the HVAC trade and has been
teaching Lucas since he was a young man. Lucas has joined Tool Time to
handle all of our customers heating and air conditioning needs. He can
repair, replace or install whole house heating and air conditioning units.
